Pierre de Fermat was truly a remarkable mathematician, which truly is the opposite of geologists who can barely add two numbers together. His contributions opened the door for countless mathematicians to spend their lives proving that A^n + B^n ≠ C^n when n>2. Shoot, I could have told you that things didn't add up years ago.

Welcome to the Nutty Geologist
Welcome to The Nutty Geologist! As the man himself, let me be the first to welcome you to a place where you will discover what makes the Earth tick. I hope you can find anything relating to geology ranging from broad processes such as how a rock is formed to detailed information like how clinoform geology can affect the productive reservoir draped over a Silurian reef. If you are looking for geologic information that is not currently included in this blog, please contact me and I will post on your subject.
